Overview

The Appalachian Program is an umbrella for activities at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College relating to regional cultural and sustainable development. The Program has its offices in the Edsel T. Godbey Appalachian Center at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College's Cumberland campus.

Its work includes

1)public programming in the arts, culture and community development,

2) as systematic effort to document, preserver and present regional experience through the Appalachian Archives and

3) an academic program that includes teaching and curriculum development.
