Betty Napier:
I worked on the play. I had two
speaking parts and two children I brought with me and they were both in the
play. If I had known how much time
that it was going to take, I probably wouldn’t have participated.
Let me assure you that I am glad I did.
Christian goes around the house singing the songs and quoting parts of
the play. I feel like I made new
friends and reacquainted with old friends.
We talked about quilting, church people we know where we worked, and
about our kids and grandkids. I
loved the play’s audience. They
really got involved in the program and when it was over they wanted to stick
around and talk. I don’t think it
could have gone any better. The
message was strong. The singing and
getting back together with everybody was wonderful.
It feels like a family reunion.
You don’t realize how close you get to people when you work so close with
them. I have enjoyed everything
involved in this project.
