Giving

A charitable gift to support Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College is an investment in people who live and work in your communities. These are people working to rise above their current circumstances by studying for a career, improving their job skills, or simply trying to improve their quality of life. So much of what the College does wouldn’t be possible – or even successful – without support from our friends and benefactors.

Your generous gift could help provide the following:

  • Tuition support for high school graduates who need financial assistance to attend college
  • Opportunity for a single mother to become a skilled nurse or other allied health worker
  • Allow a displaced worker to receive training for a new career
  • Support adult literacy in the community
  • Recognize and reward outstanding teachers
  • Funding for students with unforeseen emergencies to allow them to stay in school
  • Needed equipment and educational materials for the classroom
  • Professional development opportunities for faculty and staff

Fulfilling the Promise Campaign exceeds its goal with $5.2 Million

SKCTC completed its last major gifts campaign, Fulfilling the Promise, in April, 2011. The campaign raised over $5.2 million to support scholarships, technology, and improvements to classrooms, libraries, and other learning spaces. Southeast is honored to be the recipient of gifts from 535 donors throughout the campaign. The College is deeply grateful for the enthusiasm, generosity and leadership of volunteers and donors who worked to ensure the success of the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign.
