The Appalachian Program

The Appalachian Program is an umbrella for activities at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College relating to regional cultural and sustainable development. The Program has its offices in the Edsel T.Godbey Appalachian Center at Southeast's Cumberland campus.

Its work includes:

1) public programming in arts, culture, and community development

2) a systematic effort to document, preserve, and present regional experience through the
Appalachian Archives

3) an academic program that includes teaching and curriculum development.
