Our ABE Centers offer many services.  Find out if you are eligible.

ACT  Study math, reading, science, social studies, and English to refresh your skills.

ASVAB  Get tutoring in preparation for the entrance test.

GED   Eligible students live or work in Kentucky and have attained at least 16 years of age.  Individuals age 16 to 18 must provide official documentation of withdrawal from school.

COMPASS  Use ITTS to refresh and prepare for the entrance exam.

Corrections Education  One-on-one instruction to incarcerated individuals who are interested in expanding basic skills.  Contact Nathaniel Haines at 606-589-3242   (Harlan & Bell)

ITTS learning used nationwide.  You must enroll at an ABE Center.  After initial assessment, classes will be tailored for individual needs.

WorkKeys and WIN Curriculum  Earn a silver or gold Kentucky Employability Certificate through online learning.  This certificate is signed by the Governor and is presented by the Commonwealth of Kentucky certifying you as employable in specific areas.

Basic Computer Skills  Learn the basics of computers and keyboarding, how to type a letter or resume, how to use email, or how to store information.

TABE  The Test for Adult Basic Education is the entrance exam for all ABE students.  Scores determine strengths, weaknesses, and the plan of study for each student.
